Posts: 2,377 Group: The Cloud Keeper Member #1 Joined: December 8, 2005 Gender Female	since the upgrade will be coming sometime in the near future (of course "soon" to the owner of zetaboards can mean 3 or 4 months) I've made a couple new and different themes for the board Please look at the three different styles on the testing board. I want to know what style you like better, ignoring the colors/graphics (those can be changed easily). You may comment below about the colors. I want to know what styling you like best so I can use it for the majority of other themes. http://s6.zetaboards.com/foftesting/index/ (The link to change the theme is at the bottom. ) I didn't waste the effort on adding buttons/post icons to the test themes but everything else should be custom. Right now there are 3 themes done. A clone of the current theme here, and two others. Eventually I plan on having a total of 5 or 6 total themes. Here are my thoughts on the themes: 1. a simple/basic theme with little to no graphics for those who have slow connections (or use public computers and do not like to advertise to the world about their care bear addictions) 2. a current theme to go with the season/holiday 3. a darker theme (default theme) 4. a light colored theme (blue grumpy theme) 5. 80s styled-lots of CB graphics 6. AiCaL styled-lots of CB graphics Out of those themes, the current theme will change with the times, the others will be permanent. So it's important to me to know what you guys want to see/use. So here are my questions..... What do you guys like/dislike about the three different styles? Is anything not working? Out of the three styles, which is your favorite layout?

love with all of your heart :) Posts: 1,008 Group: Super Forest Rangers Member #210 Joined: July 26, 2006	The default one is my favorite. I like the colors and the welcome sign! I think your 6 ideas for themes is good. I think a plain one is a good idea for people with slower connections. I also like having an 80's theme Care Bear one. They are after all my favorite version of the bears. Anything you decide for the 6 themes will be fine with me. You are so talented and have an eye for web design! I know this will end up helping you in the long run so you won't have to keep creating themes and also it gives others the choice of what they want the board to look like personally for them.

One of the nice benefits will be that those non-USA members won't have to spend a month looking at graphics for a holiday that doesn't pertain to them if they do not want to. Plus I can have a winter and summer theme up at the same time since our seasons are reversed for those people "down under" Since they are made, the default and grumpy ones will definitely be used on the board once it is upgraded. (whenever in the world that may be) But which ever format you guys vote for will be the format that 99% of the other themes will be laid out in. I personally like the "default" one with all the links to the side. I find it more user friendly.
