Care Bears...STARE! Posts: 3,300 Group: Super Forest Rangers Member #2 Joined: December 9, 2005 Gender Female	Looks like my CPK collecting just came to a halt. Check out these new Scentsational CPKs w/ fake cornsilk eyelashes that Play Along just released. They are also wearing earings and have a brand new scent. No more baby powder. Oh, and they're wearing undies instead of diapers now. They are absolutely creepy looking. What the heck was Play Along thinking? They ruined the CPKs image just like they ruined the Care Bears. Looks like the CPKs are now in competition with the Bratz dolls! EWWWWWW! Everyone on the PA board is complaining about them. Atleast they didnt put the fake eyelashes on the boys. The boy in the thread looks very, very cute. Shouldnt their eye lashes atleast match their hair color? Scentsational CPKs

Posts: 1,887 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: December 9, 2005	what the heck!?!?! those lashes are freaky looking. and i love the baby powder. why are they changing it? dumb bums! i don't mind so much the diapers cuz they're kids. as long as the babies and newborns still have diapers. but seriously, play along people are wrong in the head! oh, and if they're competing with the bratz dolls, as skanky as they look, they're cuter than the new cpk lashes.

The girls are hideous looking and they reak like glue. Seriously. The smell is nasty. I cant believe they got rid of the good smelling baby powder scent. I did buy a cute boy though. He's the only boy I'll be buying in this line unless they release some other boys in cute outfits. His name is Connor Dwayne.

I was wondering if PA was trying to go for the "older" generation of kids to like these.. it almost seems like they are making these CPK's about 14 years old... :\|

I don't really collect Cabbage Patch Kids, but I remember my first one when I was little. Everyone knows they were SO popular then and they must be to be making a comeback! So why change them!? It boggles me. First the Care Bears.. now them? I'm so afraid to hear what they're going to do to poor Strawberry Shortcake. I can only imagine.

Posts: 1,887 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: December 9, 2005	ha! i saw some of the freaky lash kids today at walmart. omg! they're as scary in person as in the pictures. is anyone on the cpk boards buying them? if not then maybe they'll stop making them. i just have to wonder, after they made the prototypes, who in the world voted that they're good enough to produce? i didn't even pick 'em up to smell them. i forgot all about the lack of baby powder.

I have no clue how the heck they were approved to be released. Many members on the CPK board have emailed Play Along and complained about them but nobody has received a response yet because Play Along has been on vacation for the holidays. Not many people are buying them, especially not the girls. Most collectors are looking for boys since they dont have the ugly cornsilk lashes. Some collectors have bought girls and trimmed their lashes but I still think they look hideous. There's 3 different scents: Watermelon, Green Apple, and Honeysuckle. It says on the back of their box (Marc just realized this last night!) the different scents and what scent the Kid in the box has. Our boy is Watermelon scented. Here's another boy outfit that someone came across on Ebay. Maybe I'll look for a boy in this outfit also but Im not sure if I like it or not. I'll have to see it in person first. Album with their headmolds and outfits. I hope the Kids get pulled off the shelves and that they release the outfits seperately because I wouldnt mind having some of the outfits.

I thought she was really cute but Marc really doesnt like her at all and he keeps begging me to take her back. What do you guys think? I love her hair style, her eyelashes match her hair color so they dont look that bad, her hair is two-toned, and I really like her dress. I was going to buy a girl in this dress anyways to "swap" or buy the outfit if Play Along released them seperately. She smells like Honeysuckle. Ally Maggie (I'll be changing her name) Im looking for the strawberry dress and all the Walmarts I went to today had the Scentsational Kids but none of the girls were wearing this dress.

It just looks like their rooted right off of the eyeball. Maybe they'll give them those eyelashes that have the eyelids that close when they lay down? I really think the outfit is cute.

Too bad, b/c she'd be really adorable w/out them. Maybe you could trim them like some people on the PA board started doing? The outfit and facial expression are cute though.
