hahaha how many of you girls used to die over these things? I used to watch the show each sat morning. i had the dolls, the books, the movie.  i was such a dork

i just had a bunch of the baby sitters club books. i loved them. years later, i rented the movie and watched it. i don't remember ever seeing the show. was it on cable? cuz i didn't have cable. |

I remember them! I use to have the board game and over 100 of their books!! I also went to see the movie at the theater. I think it was the last movie I saw at the theaters until I started dating. (kind of sad huh?) I use to stay up all night reading those books, it was the only thing my parents could get me to read when I was young. |

I was obsessed with the Babysitters Club!! I remember I used to get 4 books each month mailed to me. HAHA!! I also loved the show, but the movie I wasnt too fond of. I always loved Stacey!! |

I used to love reading the books and I had the board game. I think I've seen the show a few times too. I have the movie on VHS tape that I bought from a flea market. I havent watched the movie in a looong time. |

Yes, I was obsessed with the Babysitters Club! I mean I tried to read ALL of the books, I have no idea if I did or didn't read them all but I'm pretty sure I tried my hardest. I loved the show and the movies! Girl, you're making me want to go buy the babysitters club movies! Too bad kids these days don't have ANYTHING like this to watch! This was good television back in the day!
 P.S. Maureen is Stacy the chick with the long blonde hair? If so I was thinking the same thing as I posted this but I couldn't remember her name!!! |

My sister read that series, I read the series for younger kids - baby siters club little sister. My sister was so into it that she and her friends decided to start a club, and watch the neighborhood kids for a day camp thing... lucky me, mom made me be one of the kids they watched... |

Hey Kat, I remember that series as well!! I liked those books they were shorter hehe like 65 pages or less, something like that, they weren't as long as the big girl books. I like kiddy books til this day! I like reading books with pictures. I think more people would read if they had a picture like every so many pages

Box Car Club or something like that I believe was its competitor at the time aside from goosebumps it was a ok series I reckon since my sister read them and not me.

The first Baby-sitters Club book was published in August of 1986 there are now at least 131 not counting superspecials and friends forever and mysteries at least 76 of the bsc little sister series I think I just brought at least 40 of those back from my parent's house to put in the new attic till our daughters are born and old enough to read them. If anyone wants the complete list I can post it or send it to you! |

I have the books for the babysitters little sister, and a few for the babysitters club....plus I have the dvd movie right now...never had any dolls or anything like that.... |

Our local library had a bunch of them for sale today... I'm not spending any money so I didn't buy them. I have the Baby-Sitters' Club board game too... looking to sell it though. |
